Coach 2609 was in the last order of buses that were ordered by the Cleveland Transit System (CTS).
This coach was re-engined by the GCRTA from an 8 to a 6 cylinder engine during rehabilitation during the early 80's. The air conditioner was also removed at that time although the A/C condensor cover is still in place over the rear window.
