Notes:
Originally delivered in October of 1971, this coach served for Avenue B & East Broadway in New York City as their coach 623. It is currently unknown when it was retired from there or exactly when Dayton's MVRTA acquired it however the coach was rebuilt prior to being sold to Dayton (by Hausmann) who numbered it as coach 817.
Dayton, during the 70's and 80's, was known for purchasing many used coaches to hold down it's bus service as did many small transit systems at that time. Smaller transit systems are among the last places that GM New Looks would still be running in at this time as most larger systems replaced them long ago (some large systems may have one or two left for historical or utility purposes).
