Special model for the NYCTA. Essentially identical to the T6H-5307A models that were being sold to other operators. This model was never offered for sale to any other operator.
The T6H-5309A's were configured for local service and sat 43 passengers in a perimeter seating arrangement. They also had street level exhaust.
